In a competitive restaurant industry, where efficiency and optimization are important to ensure a profitable operation, the restaurant Mother has chosen to take a pioneering step towards a more streamlined and efficient future.
"I have always dreamed of a system that gave us the opportunity to have all processes together in one solution. And by this I mean everything from POS, online bookings and takeaway orders to finance, transactions and payment systems," says David Biffani, who owns the Italian restaurant in the heart of Copenhagen.
The solution, developed by payment company Viva.com and software developer Fresto, makes it possible to increase operational efficiency while integrating all necessary functions into a single, coherent system. This means, among other things, shorter waiting times, increased table turnover and seamless payment processes with the Tap on Any Device technology, which eliminates the need for a dedicated payment terminal.
"It was crucial for us to find a solution that could reduce the time between ordering and serving. Especially when many orders pile up at the same time. The system allows me to have everything under control at all times – and even under the same umbrella,” adds David Biffani.
The implementation of this all-in-one solution has not only improved the restaurant's operations and increased efficiency internally – it has also significantly improved customer satisfaction.
“The fact that we are able to make the experience much simpler and faster also increases customer satisfaction. When we let our customers get the bill and the payment right away, we also increase the possibility of getting a tip. And in our case this has led to an increase in tips of 300%," says David Biffani.
Furthermore, it has created a more streamlined work process and increased efficiency across the restaurant's daily operations.
"Operations run much better because the cloud works, regardless of the type of internet connection you have. And it is clearly something that has improved our service," adds David Biffani.
