Following two consecutive years at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, Viva.com is powering payments across five of the UK's most prominent live events.
Viva.com, the 1st Tech Bank in Europe for businesses, announces the extension of its payments partnership with MARI (ex IMG), serving as the official partner for Taste of London, Hampton Court Palace Festival, and Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, while also powering payments at Electric Summer and Big Feastival, taking the collaboration to five of the UK's most prominent live events. The expanded partnership is delivered through Viva.com's UK subsidiary, Viva.com UK Ltd. Both parties are exploring extending the partnership to MARI’s events portfolio across Europe.
The announcement builds on two consecutive years powering Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, where Viva.com deployed 450+ payment devices, processed 3.5 million+ transactions, and served 2.4 million+ visitors.
Across all five new venues, Viva.com provides its full payments stack, anchored by Tap on Any Device technology, enabling acceptance on any Android device or iPhone so merchants can transact anywhere on-site even without fixed till points. Offline payments help keep sales moving also without a connection, while Dynamic Currency Conversion allows international visitors to pay in their home currency. Combined with support for more than 40 payment methods, and real-time settlement, this gives merchants the tools to keep trading smoothly, serve international audiences and protect margin at peak volume.
As official partner, Viva.com has already powered Taste of London in Regent's Park - which welcomed 55,000 visitors and more than 170 food and drink brands - and Hampton Court Palace Festival, which attracted 30,000 guests across nine nights of music. Viva.com's payments infrastructure is also in place for Electric Summer with a footfall of 1.2 million over the month, and Big Feastival, which draws up to 70,000 visitors over the August weekend, before the partnership culminates in its flagship event, Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, which welcomes 2.4 million visitors across over 100 rides and attractions.
