Viva.com is the first international Bank to connect directly to Portugal’s national payment scheme, enabling MB and MB WAY payments across its merchant network in Portugal and throughout Europe.
The contract covers electronic payments made by citizens and businesses to the Cypriot state, including direct taxes, vehicle license renewals, and social insurance contributions, with total managed payment volume expected to exceed €1,5 billion annually.
